I used to dream of scenarios that could be created with this game. I can’t wait to see what people do with it.

Apple online movie rentals!!!

I’ve been waiting for this day my whole life. Well, I mean for a few years. Finally, I can rent movies online with my mac! I didn’t know it was coming so soon. As with any online service, it’s quality will depend on the actual movie selection. I’ve tried Starz, MovieLink, Cinema Now, and Zongo. I currently have a Netflix account, the dvd thing is great, but the “instant viewing” selection is a little bare, so the “unlimited” hours doesn’t really do much for me, plus I have to run parallels to use it. If Apple can produce some decent titles, I’m going to say goodbye to all Netflix.

network solutions now puts a hold on names that were searched for but not immediately purchased. registars already sell search history information to other companies, so what’s the point? wouldn’t this make it even easier for squatters to steal a name you want by giving them a few more days to register it?

Casio EXILIM Pro EX-F1: 60fps: Digital Photography Review

This camera sounds amazing. It’s going to be available in March. It has the world’s fastest burst shooting capabilities. You can take up to 60 photos per second. And it has this ridiculously awesome feature that allows you to see what’s happening in slow motion, so that you can get a snapshot of something that’s moving fast easier. And because it has a built in buffer system to do that, apparently, you can set it so that when you take a picture, it will save several shots of the moments before you hit the shutter button. Oh, and it can record 1920×1080 progressive video at 60fps. The movie format saved is: MOV format, H.264/AVC, IMA-ADPCM (stereo). Photos can be saved in raw format. It’s not an SLR camera, but it does have a manual focus, and from the looks of the lens specs, good ability to control depth of field. Sign me up!
